I like the design in the upper right corner with a 90 degree, square-ish pyramid filling in the corner consistent with the rest of the design. To quilt this, you’d first mark the
corners to have that part of the design planned, then space out the remaining triangles down the length of your quilt.
It may take 10 minutes to plan your design before quilting, but that little bit of time will be well worth it as the border will fit and fill very easily. Anything that saves you from making a mistake that you have to rip out is a time saver in my opinion.
Filling the corners with cornerstones (box off the space, fill it with a different design) is also a great option and it will make Pyramids in the Sun easier to stitch into your quilt borders.
The only design idea I didn’t like was the lower left corner. That just looks weird. Again, spend some time planning the design in your quilt border before quilting and you won’t run into weirdness like this.
