I'm back and quilting with rulers once again on my Christmas Tree Quilt! I pieced several Christmas presents around the base of the tree with different glitter and holographic fabrics. This has created some very interesting challenges in this quilt, and I honestly don't know how well this will wear long-term.

But that's no reason to delay getting this festive quilt finished so it can be enjoyed on my wall. I decided to secure the glittery fabrics using simple ruler quilting designs using my Ditcher and Mini Slide rulers.

I'm making great progress on my Christmas Tree quilt! If I keep going at this pace, it will definitely be done by Christmas.

 

The key to any project is to get a little work done every day. Even though it's a very busy time of the year, I try to get at least a few stitches in this quilt every day. Sometimes I only manage to quilt a few lines, sometimes I manage an hour or two, but all progress is great progress!
