We received a beautiful picture this week from Becky H., who made her Sunshine Surprise quilt into two wall hangings to perfectly frame her cottage window.

I finished my work today on your wonderful quilt design and I wanted to send this along right away. Pretty good to finish and hang a sunshine quilt on the summer solstice, right? They are just what I need to flank the windows of the main room of my guest cottage overlooking Lake Silja in Rättvik, Sweden.

I am in my 60s and have sewed my whole life (though mostly when I was young), but I have learned so much from you, Leah! Your focus on precision has really been good for me. I had never free motion quilted before and it was so fun to feel myself gaining in coordination and confidence as I went along.
