I have a really fast, really easy Rail Fence quilt pattern to share with you today! See how to piece a quick Christmas wall hanging or table runner using Jelly Roll precut strips. I also share a sneak peek at a new quilting style I'm learning at the end:

Rail Fence Quilt Pattern

You'll need 2 Jelly Rolls or precut 2 1/2 inch strip sets. 

I used one light gray solid strip set and a glitter fabric strip set. 

Piece one glitter strip between two solid strips. 

Cut 6 1/2 inch blocks from the strip set. 

Piece the blocks to 2 1/2 x 6 1/2 inch strips, then piece them together to form long rows. I staggered my rows just for fun and pieced 3 rows together to create a nice wall hanging Rail Fence quilt. This could also make a perfect glittery Christmas table runner too!

Quilting with Your Embroidery Machine

This is a new style of quilting I'm trying - using my embroidery machine for large scale quilting. This definitely not as easy as using QCT on one of my quilting frames so I've found this technique an interesting challenge to master.
