This is a quick email to thank you all for your kindness in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. As you might have seen on the news, Western North Carolina was dramatically effected by this storm.
We lost power for several days and had to quickly have a leaning oak tree cut down in our backyard. Had it rained even a few more hours, I think this tree would have fallen over Betty's room. By grace, our home is undamaged and kids safe.
