New to Longarm Quilting?

This is a great sale, but if you're new to longarm quilting, you may be wondering if now is the right time to buy. If you're not 100% sure about diving into longarm quilting, and especially if you don't know anything about quilting frames, I recommend slowing down and learning a bit first.

There are a lot of details when it comes to longarm quilting... and actually I don't think the machine is the most important part. Most quilters focus on the machine, but it's your quilting frame that's going to determine how fast you can begin quilting any quilt and how easy it feels to get the project done.

Ruler Quilting Fun

Of course, it's always fun to see what we can do with these big, beautiful machines. Here's a video I made on my Qnique 21 with the Feather Quilting Ruler:

Ruler quilting is a fun and easy way to get more control over your quilting designs. If you're new to longarm quilting, quilting tidy designs within your blocks or borders is often a challenge. Quilting rulers help you reign in the machine and keep your quilting designs on track!

And yes, our quilting techniques on a quilting frame can get just as creative and fun as on a home machine. Here's a video with one of my favorite techniques - couching with the 9 Piece Foot Attachment Set and ruler quilting at the same time:
