This machine can make 1600 stitches per minute and I love the lighting, built in thread stand and bobbin winder. I think you'll love this sewing machine best when it's mounted on a quilting frame and quilting in manual mode.
Â
How do you quilt in manual mode on the Little Rebel? Attach the quilting needle plate, then hit the "Q" to turn off the stitch regulator. Dial the stitch
length and speed down a bit - you don't want the machine to take off at full speed.
Â
When you hit start on the handlebars, the machine will stitch at a steady, even pace. I like this best because it's predictable and sets a pace for your movement.Â
Â
With the machine set up this way, you just move the machine to match to the needle speed to create consistent stitches. This teaches you to move the machine at a steady pace, not wildly
jerking it around, which is a great skill to have for longarm quilting.
