Cornerstones and Sashing
Hi ,

I’m in a serious feather quilting mood this year as each block of the new Flower Festival quilt will feature different quilted feather designs. This week I’ve been busy designing the extra Sashing and Cornerstones pattern and I decided to include another feather design to give you even more practice quilting this beautiful design on your home machine.


Now this Sashing and Cornerstones pattern is an optional extra that will expand your Flower Festival quilt so it will measure 65 x 85 inches. If you’re wanting to make a bigger quilt that will look great on a twin sized bed, this is the pattern for you.

I’ve also included four new tip videos to guide you through quilting the sashing rectangles, cornerstone squares, and connecting the pieces together with an easy Quilt-As-You-Go technique.

The Mystery Just Got Less Mysterious
Do you wish you could see the entire Flower Festival Quilt right now? Many quilters have emailed with requests to see the whole quilt right from the beginning.

But an equal number of quilters like the quilt being a mystery and a surprise to see each block revealed each month.

I’ve decided to include the image of the finished Flower Festival Quilt in this new Sashing and Cornerstones Pattern. You’ll be able to see the overall piecing design and be able to plan ahead on your fabric choices.

While filming this new batch of videos, I got a serious case of the giggles.

I usually make a couple mistakes on each video, but nothing like this.
