Hi ,
It's been a crazy few weeks running inventory and restocking our shelves after the holidays, but I'm super happy to announce that almost everything is back in stock!
Here's a few of my favorite quilting tools that have been out of stock for awhile:
- Stitch It up a Notch: How to Piece Perfect Quilts. This is my in-depth guide to precision piecing. If you want to know why your seams don't match and how to improve, this is the book for you!
- Red Snappers Longarm Clamps. These easy-to-use clamps eliminate the need for pinning to leader cloth. This clamping system easily saves me 30 minutes or more of tedious pinning time per quilt.
- Best Quilting Scissors Ever. Yep, they really are that good. I love these scissors for applique, cutting apart half square triangles, and any sort of trimming. They have nice big handles and super sharp blades that cut through any fabric like butter.
- 2-Pack Microtip Glue and Oil Squeeze Bottles. This set of 2 empty plastic bottles will help you apply small amounts of liquid exactly where you need it most. I use one for sewing machine oil and one for Elmer's school glue for turned edge applique.
- From Daisy to Paisley. My very first quilting book! Jump into free motion quilting with 50 beginner level designs printed in a smaller sized mini book that's easy to keep next to your sewing machine.
We missed our usual Thanksgiving sale last year, but we've decided to make up for it with a big sale now!
Books and patterns are downloads emailed to you within minutes of purchase, and classes can either be watched online or downloaded to your device for offline viewing. Please note the Leaf Peepers Quilt Pattern is not included in this sale.
Digital books and patterns at half price include 365 Free Motion Quilting Designs, Explore Walking Foot Quilting with Leah Day, How to Piece Perfect Quilts, The Building Blocks Quilt Along, Winter Wonderland, and the Eternal Love quilt.
For last week's podcast, I shared a tour of my quilting studio. It's been eight years since I shared my quilting setup, and a lot has changed. I now share my space with my dad as we work together through the week.
I've also added two longarms in addition to my home sewing machines and there's no way all of that would fit into the house, so we build the Crafty Cottage as well.

This is Design #502, entitled "Electric Pulse." Watch below how to free motion quilt this on both a home machine and frame-mounted longarm. New designs will go up every Friday.
, thank you so much for being a subscriber to our weekly newsletter, which is the best way to keep up with our latest quilting videos and projects. While newsletters go out Wednesday mornings, new Mini Block videos come out Monday on the Free Motion Project blog.
