Last week I had to say no to an opportunity that, thanks to the flood and house renovation, just didn't fit with our schedule. It made me think a lot about the projects I'm taking on. When we say “yes” to making one thing, we are also saying “no” to making other things, possibly more meaningful projects.

This Star Puzzle mini quilt block is a great example of what you can do with only one tiny patchwork unit.

Not all feathers are created equal, and this feather design is anything but ordinary! This design would be ideal in your border. I filled the narrow border of my baby quilt and it fit very easily and worked great. Just be sure you like the funky nature of this feather before committing to a border.

 

Just a reminder that the Dream Big Quilt Along that will begin on this Friday, March 13th. This quilt along will focus on ruler quilting and I'm planning to use the Slice, Super Slide, Mini Slide, and Feather Rulers.
