These frames are designed specifically to work in small spaces. At only 54 inches wide, this frame will likely take up less space than your average sewing machine cabinet.
But even though the frame takes up a small space, you can use it to quilt any size of quilt. These Hoop Frames are designed to work like a supersized lap hoop - clamping around the space you are quilting. When you're done with that area, remove the clamps and shift the quilt to the left or right or roll the quilt up to advance to the next row.
With a hoop frame, you can use the home sewing machine you have right now. Place the machine on the carriage, and easily roll it over the frame. To control the machine's speed, sit in a chair and use your sewing machine's foot pedal just like normal.
