A friend of mine reminded me this weekend that saying "yes" to one thing is also saying "no" to something else.
This past week I realized I'd been trying to say yes to too much - recording Mally, editing hours of audio, and filming new tutorials, when what I really wanted and needed to do was go lay tile in my bathroom.
Yes, the basement renovation is still in full swing, and no, it's nowhere near finished. The bathroom, office, and studio remain with new walls, electric, and floors as well as paint, trim, and... it just makes me tired thinking about all that's left to do.
I feel like if I could just get the bathroom done, everything would be so much better. I know the whole world is weird right now, but getting half my house back in working order would definitely lessen the stress in my neck of the woods.
So understand that I'm not sick or anything like that. I'm still packing orders first thing every morning and checking email every afternoon and evening.
But in between, I'm laying tile and grouting and picking out fixtures, and trying to find the right floor to cover this much space!
Let's go quilt (or rebuild half your house... I know what I'd rather be doing!)
