The dog days of summer have arrived and it's too hot to piece super tiny half square triangles! Thankfully this week's Mini Shoo Fly Block has (slightly) bigger pieces and is super easy to sew:

This Shoo Fly Quilt Block is very easy to piece and if this is your first Mini Block Tutorial, this is a great one to try! First you’ll make four Half Square Triangles using the 4 at a Time Method. Trim down your HSTs to measure 1 1/2 inches square.

Then arrange your units into rows and piece them together. Here’s what it looks like when you finish piecing your Shoo Fly Quilt Block:
