Hi ,
I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas! I've been waiting on my new Continuum II frame all month and I'm crossing my fingers it ships today. I cannot wait to get the boxes unpacked and begin building my new 12-foot frame.
It seems like only a bit ago I was setting up my first Continuum Frame for the Qnique 14+ and this was the first pic I snapped as I took my first stitches on this system:
This room has changed a lot in the 3 years since I shot that photo. We renovated and expanded it a bit in 2019 and painted the walls bright white.
Then this year after the basement flooded, I realized I could move another wall and have space for a 12-foot frame. I never thought that would be possible and it just goes to show that in longarm quilting having more space to play is extremely addictive!
Yes, my frames and machines are continually changing, as Grace Company and Janome America continue to create new machines, frames, software, and quilting capabilities. I'm continually thinking of new videos to create to help educate, inspire, and empower you to get the most out of your quilting equipment.
That being said, this month of December, I'm taking a break on sharing new videos.
I'm putting my time into research and updating the pantograph guidebook and developing a new set of downloadable pantograph designs.
These new designs can be mixed and matched to create pantographs in multiple sizes for our larger longarms. Along the way, I'm also developing new methods for quilting pantographs on a Hoop Frame, which can be tricky to keep straight and evenly spaced.
I love digging into quilting issues like this and learning everything there is to know about spacing the designs, printing them to fit properly, and how to troubleshoot the most common issues.
This research brings me lots of joy because I know it will help many quilters master pantograph quilting in the future.
And here's the great news: this new method of sharing pantographs will be much easier and I look forward to coming out with even more creative designs.
Best of all, these downloadable pantograph designs will never go out of stock!
Now if I can just get my new Continuum II frame in the basement and put together, I'll be able to shoot more photographs and be one more step closer to finishing this new project. Like I said, I can't wait!
Huge Savings on Frames and Machines
|
Grace Company has extended our fall sale through Christmas with huge discounts on the Q-Zone Hoop Frame, Hoop Frame Pro, and new Continuum II Frames.
Hoop Frame Pro - This is the upgraded version of the Hoop Frame that includes leader cloth, a dual track, and a fused back table to support your pantograph designs! Click Here to
find the Hoop Frame Pro.
Continuum II Frame - The original Continuum Frame has gotten a face lift with a new ratchet system and bungee support. The frame still takes up the same footprint and is available in 8 foot, 10 foot, and 12 foot lengths. Click Here to learn more about the Continuum II Frame.
For our Christmas sale I've put together a special package that includes the three best products Grace Company offers: a Qnique 21 Pro, Continuum II frame, and QCT 5 computer automation. And one more bonus - a light bar to illuminate your quilting space too! Click Here to learn more about this Ultimate Quilting System.
Normally the longarm machine and frame alone would cost over $12,000, but during our Christmas sale, you can also get our computerized quilting system and light bar for $12,298.95.
That is a super deal, but it does come with a catch...
Qnique 21 Pro machines are low in stock and it will likely take 4 weeks for your order to ship. I know from experience that it's no fun to wait, but deals like this only come around once or twice a year.
If you have any questions about any of our frames or machines, or the current sales we have running please don't hesitate to reply to this email and ask.
So that's it for this week, . I hope you're enjoying this Christmas season and focusing on the things that bring you the most joy.
Let's go quilt,
Leah Day
