Back to Free Motion with Jagged Crazy Weave
|
We're back to free motion quilting fun and easy designs with this brand new tutorial. If a simple grid design seems to boring, you’ll definitely want to try quilting this Jagged Crazy Weave.
Difficulty Level – Beginner.
Design Family – Edge to Edge. This design will work best when you’re quilting across a narrow space (1-8 inches wide) that has either ditches or a defined edge for you to travel stitch along. Borders, sashing, or long narrow blocks will be great choices for quilting Jagged Crazy Weave.
Where to Quilt It? – Because this design is so busy, I think this will work best on a larger scale and quilted in a wide border. Because the lines are all straight and angles sharp, this would be a good choice for ruler quilting with a straight edge ruler like Slice or the Ditcher.
Let’s go quilt,
Leah Day
