Difficulty Level – Super Beginner. This design is very simply quilted by first stitching across your quilting space with a zigzag line. Then to fill in the rest of the space, just travel stitch and echo the line to both sides. If echoing consistently is a challenge for you, quilting Zigzag Path will definitely help you build this skill quickly and a bit of inconsistency will not be noticeable on your finished quilt.
Design Family – Foundational. This family of designs starts with a single line that sets the foundation for the design. How deeply you fold your zigzag starting line, how sharp the angles and points, and how long the straight lines are stitched will all effect the finished look of the design on your quilt.
Where to Quilt It? – This design is a terrific choice for blocks, borders or sashing! I used Zigzag Path in my Salsa Verde Quilt and it looked terrific stitched through these triangles.
