Click Here to find the Singer Heavy Duty 4411. It is very affordable, easy to operate, and produces a quality stitch at high speeds. I love that I can adjust the presser foot pressure, move the needle position left or right, and have a few
utility stitches to zigzag, blind hem, and sew buttonholes if I'm making a shirt. 👕
For more seasoned quilters, the Singer 4411 will make a nice travel machine at 14 pounds, especially if you add the additional Extension Bed. The throat space is 6 1/4-inches from needle to motor, which means quilting a huge quilt is going to be a challenging... but I have another new accessory that may just change the game on this.
Why Singer Heavy Duty?
Over the last 4 years,
my focus has been on longarms, quilting frames, and bigger sewing machines. A lot of quilters have asked me to return to my roots: small home sewing machines beginning quilters can afford. ✨
I attended H+H this spring with this goal - to expand my dealership to add quality, affordable home sewing machines. I tried out many brands and ultimately kept coming back to the Singer booth.
These machines are solid - the heavy duty line has been
established for over 10 years - and I love their simplicity. Most of us really don't use 300+ decorative stitches and 9 buttonhole options when quilting. We need a quality stitch, consistent tension, and compatible quilting feet to do walking foot quilting, free motion quilting and ruler quilting.
I will be expanding this line up with more Singer heavy duty machines over the next month. If the 4411 is not for you, just wait! There are a few more in this line that offer
excellent features at a great price.
