When I switched to longarm quilting on a frame, the machine quilting process felt so much easier, but my quilting precision went out the window.
I still don't have the same level of control over my quilting stitches. I know from experience that it takes dozens of quilts to master travel stitching, dozens of quilts to master echoing, and I just haven't had time.
This is what I love about computerized quilting the most - I don't have to wait.
I don't have to practice for hours and hours, quilt after quilt. I can pick a design, place it properly,
and let my machine stitch perfectly. I love digitizing designs and the new creative freedom I've gained from computerized quilting.
