Let's get quilting! School is finally back in full swing and it seems like the perfect time to start learning about a new family of designs on the Quilt Along!
This week we're getting acquainted with Paisley, a fun Pivoting Design that will look terrific on your quilts. If you haven't been following along with the quilt along so far, it will be a great time to jump in with both feet and give this beautiful design a try.

Did you know that you don't have to have a blog to participate in the weekly quilt along? All you need to do is open a flickr or facebook account where you can easily upload photos and share them online.
By stitching with us each week you'll be able to follow along with a terrific group of quilters and watch as your skills improve with each design you try. No, you don't have to link up in order to stitch along with us, but it sure is more fun that way!
And speaking of stitching along, have you checked out the new UFO Sunday project? Basically you just pick one day out of the week to work on UFOs and post your progress on Sundays.
Best of all, you can ask for help and advice from other helpful quilters! Sometimes it's nice to get a second opinion or more ideas on a project that has become so blocked up you don't want to work on it anymore.

That's it for this week! I'm heading into the sewing room to play with more Pivoting Designs and stitch on a few UFOs. I'm looking forward to a UFO-Free zone, though it may take a few years to get there! Lol!
