If you're wanting get started free motion quilting, learn a few designs, and how to fit and fill them into pieced blocks for a soft throw sized bed quilt, this class is definitely going to be a great fit for you.

Stitch and Slash - This class is taught by Carol Waugh, a fun art quilter from Denver, CO. Her chill, no-perfection-needed attitude is the perfect base for this class on a funky mock-mola technique. Basically you learn how to layer fabric, stitch it, and slash it to reveal multiple colors and funky ragged edges. I highly recommend this class as a great way to push your edge beyond the ordinary and let go of your need for perfection.

Design It, Quilt It - Another terrific class is Design It, Quilt It with Cindy Needham. Cindy teaches you how to design a quilt using stencils, then fill with several background designs. This is a great class for anyone wondering how to use stencils along with background fills. I really wish this class had been around 4 years ago when I was getting into quilt design!
