When I haven't been quilting this week, I've also been reorganizing parts of my sewing room.

In Question Thursday #37, I shared many detailed pictures of my sewing room with tips about organizing each space and links to the various pieces of furniture I've found over the years that work well for sewing and quilting.

Looking at the photos, I noticed many areas that looked cluttered and junky so I began thinking about ways to improve with a new set of drawers. I've posted details about three different systems that I was looking at in a post Sewing Room Organization - Drawer Research right here.

Overall, it's good to know that there's never a 100% perfect option for your space. There will always be upsides and downsides to any quilting setup. Personally I decided to go with 1 IKEA Alex drawer just to see how it fit in the space and make sure I liked it before picking up more.

Finally, on UFO Sunday I finished quilting James's space quilt. How was I able to quilt it so quickly (1 week)? By deciding to quilt it for me, to get it done the way I wanted it done, and to stop complicating things so badly!
