Hi ,

Happy New Year! Life was still crazy last week with James out of school, so I waited to send out this newsletter until now. And boy! do I have a lot to share with you today!

This past week has been a transition from the 2012 quilt along style to a new project, new focus, and new Quilt Along link up day!

The focus this week was words - finding positive words to live by and express your love to yourself, family, and the world, and I kicked off on Thursday with post #1. I am Enough and Other Positive Words.

In this article and video you'll learn how to thread paint words into your quilt and learn about the three phrases I'm using in one area of my quilt:

I am enough.
I have an open and willing heart.
My cup runneth over.

After filling the space with words, today I've shared a video on how to echo quilt around them with another color of thread to fill the area entirely with beautiful texture.  Find this post #2. Echo Quilting Around Positive Words right here.

As for the project I'm quilting these wonderful words into, this is Express Your Love , a goddess quilt I designed just to share with you!
