Fall Craftsy Class Sale

Published: Sat, 09/20/14

HiĀ ,

This is just a quick email to let you know that right now all Craftsy classes are up to 50% off!

I'm delighted that Craftsy used a photo from my class Free Motion Quilting a Sampler in this sale banner! That class is my most popular, with more than 25,000 students enrolled. Can you imagine trying to teach a class that big with all the students in one room?! Thankfully I've never had to meet everyone in person because this is an online Craftsy class.

Craftsy is a unique learning platform were you can learn on your own time and from the comfort of your home and sewing space. You can watch the lessons of any class over and over and ask your instructor questions anytime. The classes never expire, so you never have to rush to watch all the videos. Once you buy access to a class it's yours forever!

Here's a few classes I've been watching this week:
Creative Quilting with Your Walking Foot - Oh the amazing things you can do with your walking foot! Had I taken this class back in 2005, I might never have learned how to free motion quilt!

In this awesome class Jacquie Gering teaches you how to quilt with your walking foot in many creative ways. If you've been wanting to start machine quilting, but haven't known where to get started, this is definitely the class for you.

Freeform Crochet - This is the perfect class for quilters with a softer side for yarn! Learn how to crochet little "scrumbles" - free form crochet pieces that are easy and quick to create, then watch as Myra Wood teaches you how to connect them all together to form a free form fabric that's out of this world!
Amazing Applique - This fun class focuses on how to cut, fuse, and machine finish applique quilts beautifully. I was blown away by Kimberly Einmo's twin needle zigzag technique and how nicely this finished the edges of her circle appliques.

All of the projects in this class will be quick to construct because they are designed to use precut fabrics and AccuQuilt Go dies. The shapes are also included in the course materials, so even if you don't have an AccuQuilt, you can make the projects in this class.

These three classes are just the tip of the iceberg! Learn loads about any topic of crafting: quilting, spinning, knitting, cooking, weaving - whatever you're wanting to learn this fall, you can probably find a class on it at Craftsy.

Definitely take advantage of this big fall sale and click here to save up to 50% off on all classes until Monday, 9/22.

Let's go quilt,

Leah Day
