This week we finished our last set of basket blocks with Pebbles and Echoes. Definitely check the videos out to see which designs I marked and which I quilted free hand with no marks.
Not Finding Treasure Under My Carpet
|
This week my dad, Josh and I finally started a project I've been wanting to tackle for eight years - ripping out our horrible wall-to-wall carpet and replacing it with laminate wood floors.
It's been funny to share about this project because many people have obviously found treasures like beautiful hardwood floors under their carpets. We just found really dirty, ugly
linoleum. Ugh!
And what is under the linoleum? Just glue and plywood. No treasures here!
This project has been tough and dirty, but I just keep thinking of how nice it will be to have the new floors in place. No more horrible red carpet that shows every speck of dirt.
