What were you quilting last year?

Hi ,

You could know exactly what you were quilting last year if you'd blogged about it! Today I've shared a post: Five Years of March 18th, where I dug back through the archives of the Free Motion Quilting Project and found every post shared this date.

It was neat looking back at all the designs, projects, and interesting posts I've shared over the years. Some of these posts have made me smile, some have made me cringe, but isn't that life? It's always a mixed bag!

Looking back at all these posts also made me realize the sheer volume of what we've shared over the years. With so many videos dedicated to free motion quilting, I'm now turning my sights on other quilting topics like machine embroidery and walking foot quilting.
To support quilters just getting into machine quilting we've created a new Machine Quilting Kit exclusively from LeahDay.com. This kit comes with the following items:

- Low Shank Foot Set - This awesome collection of 8 low shank feet will work with most inexpensive sewing machines. This set includes a walking / even feed foot, 1/4 inch patchwork foot, roller foot, invisible zipper foot, Teflon foot, overlock foot, open toe applique foot, and pintuck foot.

- Low Shank Darning Foot - Quickly modify this low shank darning foot to increase your visibility while free motion quilting!
- White Aurifil Thread - This super thin 50 weight mako cotton thread is a great choice for quilt piecing AND quilting. Use this thread in your bobbin and top for best results.

- White Isacord Thread - This polyester thread is perfectly suited for free motion quilting because it's very thin, but very strong. Try using this spool of Isacord in the top and bobbin for great results free motion quilting.
