I very much apologize for the lack of newsletter last week. At the end of August, Josh and I were thrown a major curve ball, and over the last month we've been working like crazy to get the problem fixed.

We have kept this issue quiet but thankfully we can now tell you all about it as the issue is behind us and thankfully everything is A-okay!

To make a long story short, we had to change websites, servers, and shift to a new web development company and rebuild LeahDay.com from the ground up. We have been scrambling for the last three weeks and on this past Wednesday, September 30th, our old site was turned off and our new LeahDay.com went live. Click Here to check out the new site!

For quilters familiar with our old site, we hope you enjoy the new LeahDay.com so much more. We could not be happier with how it turned out. It's faster, prettier, and easier to navigate. We now have a new shopping cart system, an updated layout, and a gorgeous, bright design that will give you an excellent experience no matter whether you're visiting on your computer, tablet, or phone.

This has been something I've wanted to offer for years, but our old system was too limited. One other thing you will notice is how the product pages have changed. When a book or quilt pattern is offered in both print and downloadable ebook formats, you will have a drop down button to select the format you want:

Moving the website occupied most of my attention this past month, but I still made time for new posts to the Free Motion Quilting Project.

Hokey Pokey Crazy Quilt - This month's Quilty Box came with cute polka dot fabric that I improv pieced into a totally crazy triangle quilt. It's so bright and cheerful, this quilt just makes me smile every time I see it! Click here to watch the video on piecing this quilt.
